LSU Campus Outreach
Undergraduate and Graduate education are the foundation of every university. The SIF supports the educational mission at LSU through providing access to high-end analytical and microscopy instrumentation for departmental courses. To expand departmental course usage, SIF charges a reduced rate (25% of normal instrument rates) for Educational use of instrumentation. Tours of the facility are free-of-charge. Educational use of instrumentation must be scheduled at the beginning of each semester in order to ensure that instrument time will be available.
If you have a course that would benefit from instrument integration or hands-on experience for your students, please contact us to schedule instrument time.
