As a first generation college student, I recognize that the college experience can be both an exciting and stressful time. Today’s students face many challenges and opportunities in addition to balancing more than ever before.

Helping students navigate through these challenges and in turn seeing the progress of their individual growth and development is what is most rewarding for me.

My favorite spot on campus is Mike the Tiger's Habitat. Mike can brighten up anyone's day!

Causes I'm passionate about

I'm passionate about the work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I served as Executive Director and Co-Advisor for Up 'til Dawn at Middle Tennessee State University, a student-run organization which brings national awareness and fundraising efforts for St. Jude.

Rewarding research

I was the recipient of the Dissertation of the Year Award from the Association for Student Conduct Administration.
