Caitlyn Morrison
Manager, Campus Events
When I look back on my undergraduate experience, what stands out most are the people, places, and things that I connected with outside of my classes.
Growing up in a small town in central Louisiana, there were so many things that I had never experienced. Getting involved with student organizations, attending events on campus, and working in an on-campus job allowed me to get immersed in the culture of my university. I learned more about the world and myself in the process.
I love this work since it allows me to help LSU students get connected to the things that will shape their college experience and push them to learn more about themselves.

Eyes on Mike
My favorite spot on campus is Mike’s Habitat. I love trying to catch him up roaming around or taking a swim! When I can’t make it over to that part of campus, I like to check out all the pictures he posts on his socials.
In the Kitchen
My favorite thing to do in Baton Rouge is signing up for a good baking or cooking class. There are so many fun options through Red Stick Spice or the Louisiana Culinary Institute. My favorite class I’ve taken was a class where we made homemade cinnamon rolls!
In my alternate career, I would be a...
Party planner! I love coordinating large events and helping people celebrate special occasions.
