Data Architecture
Data Architecture is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and management of enterprise information systems solutions supporting University business and data processes - in alignment with strategic roadmaps, governance strategies, policies, standards, and expected service levels.
Central Support manages central administrative business unit systems, software, and business processes. Key applications include Workday for Finance, HR, Payroll and GeauxGrants for research administration.
Legacy Support develops and maintains custom central administrative academic and student mainframe information systems. Key applications support student registration and financial services, such as class scheduling, fee bills, financial aid, and grades - which can all be found on the myLSU portal.
Production Support provides infrastructure-level services including non-mainframe application development and administration, database administration, system integration, and reporting and analytical services. Key applications include GROK Knowledge Base, myLSU portal, Omni Web Content Manager, Tableau data visualization, and TigerWare software downloads.
