Advancing the Student Experience
The Executive Branch of LSU Student Government is divided into departments. These departments cover a range of functions tasked with advancing the student experience in that area. Below is the list of departments and their officers.

Academic Affairs
Academic Affairs is responsible for improving students' academic experiences with faculty and administration and enhancing the quality of campus academic services.
Athletics
Athletics works to enhance the student fan experience at athletic events and is responsible for any activity pertaining to university athletic policies. This department is also charged with planning the annual Bus Trip and coordinating student ticket appeals.

Campus Affairs & Sustainability
Campus Affairs & Sustainability is responsible for implementing initiatives aimed at enhancing on-campus life and interests, the construction and development of physical areas of campus, and any and all sustainability efforts at LSU.
Disability Services
Disability Services is responsible for any activity and initiative relating to disability offerings and accommodations for students on campus.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion works to implement all diversity-based initiatives administered through Student Government. The group is tasked with working with minority organizations on campus and implementing programs that create a space and outlet for minority students.
Finance
Finance is charged with keeping financial records, providing financial reports to the president and the Student Senate and increasing transparency of all student fees and SG expenses. The director also chairs and coordinates the PSIF and ORF committees.
Freshman Leadership Council
The Freshman Leadership Council (FLC) team oversees our program for first-year students, in which freshmen meet and engage with their peers, learn about campus leadership, and build their professional development skills.
Governmental Relations
Governmental Relations tracks all governmental matters affecting LSU at the state and city level and serves on committees promoting civic advocacy. This department is also responsible for the development of materials that inform students on the voting process and their elected officials.
Graduate & Nontraditional Affairs
Graduate & Nontraditional Affairs works to improve the day-to-day of graduate, first-generation, parenting, and professional students and implements programs that seek to enrich their experience.
Health & Wellness
Health & Wellness promotes a healthy body and a healthy mind. They work with on-campus resources like the Student Health Center, the University Recreation Center, and the Academic Affairs office to promote student wellbeing.
International Student Affairs
International Student Affairs works with international student organizations and the International Cultural Center to implement programs that create an inclusive space for international students on campus.
Marketing
Marketing oversees all external communications on behalf of Student Government. This includes managing our website and social media, designing merchandise and digital graphics, and any other creative services that SG needs.

Safety & Transportation
Safety & Transportation advocates for student parking, transportation, and safety issues on and off campus. This includes LSU’s commuter, residential and Greek parking lots, Campus Transit, campus signage, and any other safety-related issues.
Service & Community Development
Service & Community Development seeks to create service and volunteer opportunities for members of Student Government and works to foster better outreach with community higher education institutions, such as Southern University.
Special Events
Special Events focuses on some of SG's larger-scale programming. The department helps plan, coordinate, and facilitate many of our legacy events, such as Geaux Run and Hey Tigers Day, and works to create more traditions-based programming on LSU's campus.
Student Auxiliary Services
Student Auxiliary Services advocates for students with any campus auxiliary service, such as LSU Dining, the Student Union, the Bookstore, the Tiger Card Office, LSU Vending, etc.
Student Entertainment
Student Entertainment focuses on helping coordinate some of SG's entertainment-based programming, such as Groovin' as Silent Disco.
Student Outreach
Student Outreach works to provide communication between Student Government and other student organizations through organizational visits. The department also hosts our weekly tabling event, called Meet SG Monday, and represents SG at any involvement fairs, freshman orientations, or prospective student events.
Veteran & Military Affairs
Veteran & Military Affairs works with the LSU Corps of Cadets to implement programming for veteran and military students on campus and works on initiatives that improve these students' experiences at LSU.
We're Committed
We're Committed was established to help end sexual violence on LSU's campus and works with the Title IX office and Student Health Center to host programs and work on initiatives that create a safer campus for students.
