March 2025 Update

Dear LSU Faculty and Staff,

We are excited to announce that LSU Workday Student – our new system for course registration and more – is live!

What does this mean? Registration will look different for our students as they register for summer and fall classes using Workday, beginning March 24. With the exception of the student advising community, most faculty and staff can expect to begin using Workday student functionality in the summer. As a reminder, Workday does not replace Moodle as our learning management system.

We want you to know that the entire team has been working around the clock to ensure our students, staff and faculty have a smooth process as we transition to this new, modern student information system.

What You Need to Know:

• We have a series of instructional emails for our students planned, beginning today, to prepare them to schedule in the new system. We are partnering with the academic advising offices across campus to streamline communication for our students.
   
• You can learn more about this project (roles, timelines, etc.) on the website – lsu.edu/workdaystudent.
   
• We need you – help us spread the word about the student resources. You’ll notice signs, digital screens, and other notices around campus throughout this month encouraging students to access Workday before their registration time. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and help our students be prepared.
