Handshake is free to students and alumni – current students have accounts automatically created for them, and can log in using their myLSU credentials.

Explore upcoming events and fairs hosted by the LSU Olinde Career Center and potential employers under the Events tab in Handshake. With a variety of recruiting events, networking opportunities, and career workshops, there is always something to keep you inspired.
Handshake offers help where and when you need it. Click the Career Center tab and select Resources to view resume examples, career assessments, and more digital career support. You can also schedule an appointment with us by selecting Appointments for your choice of topics, coaches, dates, and times.

Looking to hire an LSU student for your on-campus position? Faculty and staff members can post employment opportunities on behalf of their department.
To request an account, email stuemployment@lsu.edu.
LSU faculty and staff can create a Student Account in Handshake. This allows users to view job postings, career events, employers connected to LSU, and on-campus interview opportunities to better assist students.
To request a Student Account, select Student/Alumni in Handshake and email Blake Winchell to let him know you have submitted this request for approval at bwinch1@lsu.edu.
